We wanted to bring an extra special Halloween treat with us on the Inter-Island Field trip! So what better festive snack then candied apples!!!
Lots of B-E-A-U-tiful apples!!!
We mashed up some candies to sprinkle on our apples. Dalton was in a grumpy middle schooler mood, so this was a good job for him!

Quickly we realized the carmel was not sticking quite like it was suppose to!
We tried rolling them in sprinkles.
That didn't work either.
The candied apples worked though!

Well, not bad for a first attempt. It is the thought that counts... right!?
