I don't know if you have heard but on Monhegan we have a very famous individual. You may know her from her beautiful paintings or her zesty dog, Chase... but that is not why she is famous at the Monhegan School... to us she is Alice Boynton, the Best Kickball Scorekeeper in the Whole Wide World!
Unfortunately we often forget to recognize what a fabulous scorekeeper Alice has been for years on end. This year we created an epic award for Alice to let her know how much we appreciated her dedication to her role as scorekeeper on our kickball day!
We made the biggest award in the history of kickball... we wrote personal notes to thank Alice and also attached some bells to it so everyone can hear her coming down the road and know that she is the best scorekeeper!
So, thank you Alice!
Without you, kickball just wouldn't be the same.
